Privacy Policy for Nagger

2. In short
- If you use Nagger without signing in, your tasks, your cat and all your data stay only on your device; nothing is sent to our servers (except anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, see 3.4).
- If you sign in (with Apple or Google), your data is stored in your account so it comes back when you switch phones or reinstall. Only you can see your tasks and personal statistics.
- Friends only see your cat, room, badges and how many tasks you did — never your task titles.
- No ads. We don't sell your data.
3. What we process and why
3.1 Your account (if you sign in)

Someone who knows your exact username can see your username, cat name and breed in search.
3.4 Usage statistics and crash reports (everyone)
To improve the app we use Firebase Analytics (which screens and features are used, device model, OS, language, country, an anonymous app instance ID) and Firebase Crashlytics (technical data at the time of a crash). Task titles, notes, usernames and cat names are never sent to these services.
3.5 Purchases
Premium and coin purchases go through the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. Your premium status and coin balance are kept in the app (and in your account if you signed in).
4. Legal basis
- Contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)): your account, storing your data and social features.
- Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): security, abuse prevention, crash reports and anonymous usage statistics.
5. Where data is stored and international transfers
Your data is stored on Google Firebase in the European Union (europe-west1, Belgium). Authentication, push notifications, usage statistics and crash reporting are provided by Google LLC (USA) under Google's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention and deletion
- We keep your data until you delete your account.
- Delete account (My cat → Settings → Account → Delete account) permanently removes all your server data — tasks, completion history, cat profile, friendships, tasks you gave or received, gifts and interactions. You can also choose to wipe the data on your device.
- Sign out keeps your data in your account and removes it from this device; it comes back when you sign in again.
- Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days; usage statistics for up to 14 months under Google's retention settings.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or export your data and object to processing (GDPR Art. 15–22, KVKK Art. 11). You can delete your account in the app at any time. For other requests: volkanustekidg@gmail.com — we reply within 30 days.
8. Children
Nagger is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes
When we update this policy we change the "Last updated" date and announce significant changes in the app.
